Asante Kotoko coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum has expressed his excitement following his return to the club.

Narteh Ogum had his first stint with teh club during the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season where he led the team to Premier League glory.

However, he surprisingly parted ways with the club after just a season with the club due to a misunderstanding by the then-Nana Yaw Amponsah-led management.

The former WAFA boss was officially unveiled today at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

Speaking at his unveiling, Narteh Ogum expressed his joy following his return to the club.

"I am overly excited and overwhelmed by this opportunity and nothing else comes closer, probably the day I got married but I have to say I am excited to be here again," he said.

Prosper Narteh Ogum will lead the team as they begin pre-season on Tuesday at Beposo in Kumasi ahead of the 2023/24 Ghana football season that get underway in September later this year.

Kotoko will open their campaign with a home game against Heart of Lions at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Other members of the IMC include Nana Apinkra Akwasi Awua; the Kontomponiaferehene and a chartered accountant, former Black Stars coach Appiah, and Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi, as the Administrative Manager.
