Young goalkeeper Richard Baidoo, was promoted from Hearts’ youth team, Auroras to the first team but is yet to make a competitive debut for the Phobians.

Goalkeepers Richard Attah, Richmond Ayi, and Ben Mensah are all ahead of him and, the youngster says he always learns from those above him at training anytime they meet.

Speaking to Hearts Media the young keeper said

“I know my time will come and I always try to learn from Richard Attah, Ben Mensah and Richmond Ayi to become a better goalkeeper in the future,”

“I am aware of how difficult it is to become number one at Hearts as we have three very good goalkeepers who are on top of their game right now and are above me in the ranking order,” he added.

Club goalkeepers trainer Ben Owu spoke about the young keeper and revealed his expectations.

“He will get opportunities and I believe he will take full advantage of this when football returns after the coronavirus pandemic,” he said.
