Bechem United striker Hafiz Konkoni says he does not believe in the use of spiritual powers to enhance his football career.
The forward has been in fine form this season for the Hunters, scoring 8 goals in the Ghana Premier League.
In an interview with Kumasi-based Wontumi FM, the enterprising forward stated emphatically he does not believe in juju.
“I don’t believe in juju. Everyone has his believe but as a Muslim, I don’t believe it that. Juju is not part of my game. I pray to God before games and that is all” he said.
Bechem United travel to Kumasi today to face Asante Kotoko in matchday 19 of the Ghana Premier League.
He will hope to shine at the Baba Yara Stadium for the Hunters.
