'I don't have players anywhere' - Aboubakar Ouattara explains Legon Cities defeat to angry fans

Hearts of Oak head coach, Aboubakar Ouattara, expressed his disappointment with the level of quality exhibited by his team following their latest defeat.

The Phobians succumbed to a 2-0 loss against Legon Cities at the Dawu Park, marking their fourth defeat in the second half of the 2023-2024 Ghana Premier League season.

Although Hearts initially enjoyed a strong start with an impressive five-game unbeaten run following Ouattara's appointment, they have recently experienced a series of setbacks. This downward spiral resulted in three consecutive losses before finally securing a 3-1 victory over Karela United, breaking their losing streak.

In the aftermath of the defeat, Coach Ouattara found himself confronted by disappointed Phobian fans.

In response, he indirectly attributed the team's struggles to the limited quality of options at his disposal. He acknowledged the frustration of the fans, stating, "These are the materials I have. I do not have any players anywhere else so I have to work with them. So be patient and hear me out."
