Hearts of Oak head coach Martin Koopman has refused to comment on the penalty incident involving his side and Karela United on Saturday.

There was a late shout at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium for a Hearts of Oak penalty but the referee did not heed to those calls.

Speaking after the game ended 1-1, Koopman decided against commenting on the penalty incident.

"It was a tough game from both sides we start not so good because 1-0 behind and I think in the second half we picked it up we got a little more fighting spirit he said after the game,” he told StarTimes.

"You can play nice football but you must also have fighting spirit the second half was okay at the end 1-1.

"You can also have a penalty but I don't talk about referees so 1-1 not losing next game we must win.”

Karela United were also awarded a penalty which Richmond Ayi saved from Solomon Adomako.
