Kevin Danso, regarded as one of Europe's top defenders by RC Lens coach Franck Haise, spoke to Austrian newspaper Kronen Zeitung regarding his future.
“I take things my way. I will only deal with it when there is something concrete. I feel very comfortable there (in Lens), then we'll see,” admitted the 24-year-old central defender, under contract with the Sang et Or until June 2026.
Danso is delighted at his coach's compliments:
"I'm glad he sees it that way. He knows how invested I am. I made progress in my self-confidence. My goal is to play every minute and that the coach can count on me. I'm in good shape right now. I also made progress in building the game. It's becoming a bit of a habit. The playing time helps a lot, the self-confidence is there,”
Danso has made 28 appearances, scored one goal and assisted one in the French Ligue 1 this season.
