Great Olympics head coach Annor Walker has confessed that he was happy when Legon Cities FC sacked Serbian tactician Goran Barjaktarevic.

The German tactician was relieved of his post two matches into the ongoing 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season after failing to record a win.

His sack came right after the Royals lost to Great Olympics at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Speaking in a post-match press conference today, coach Annor Walker has disclosed that the sacking of Goran Barjaktarevic gave him delight.

“I was happy when Legon Cities fired Goran.

“We are local coaches and need the job here. The local coaches must lift up their game,” the Great Olympics coach said after his team defeated WAFA today.

Meanwhile, coach Annor Walker has expressed sadness to the recent sacking of Asante Kotoko head coach Maxwell Konadu.
