Ibrahim Salifu’s move to Hearts of Oak is on the brink of collapse with Medeama SC countering the offer of the Phobians in a bid to poach the Eleven Wonders attacker from the noses of the capital-based club.

As reported earlier by your most trusted online portal, Hearts of Oak has agreed on a three-year contract with the player with a transfer fee of GHS70,000 set to be paid to the club in Techiman for the player to complete the switch.

Earlier today Ibrahim Salisu traveled to Accra with his manager to wrap up the move before his official unveiling by the Rainbow club.

This afternoon, information reaching footballghana.com is that Medeama SC laid an ambush in the capital and have countered the offer of Hearts of Oak with a deal that gives the agent of the player a sweet package.

As a result, it is understood that Ibrahim Salifu is having second thoughts about signing for Hearts of Oak as his camp considers the offer from Medeama SC.

While a finality is yet to be reached, information coming in indicates that Hearts of Oak still leads the race and could get the attacker to sign by the close of day.
