Striker Benjamin Bature has shared his excitement after re-joining Medeama ahead of the start of the 2023/24 season.

Bature joins the Ghana Premier League champions on a three-year deal after leaving King Faisal.

"I am very happy to return to Tarkwa to continue with my career. Medeama has always been a great place for me and I look forward to joining the group," he told medeamasc.org.

"The decision to re-join this fantastic club was an easy one having played for couple of years here.

"The ambition, direction and focus of the club excites me and I look forward to contributing my quota to the success of the club”

The forward made 24 appearances for King Faisal in the recently ended season, scoring 6 goals and providing one assist.

Bature joined King Faisal last season after departing Tunisian side JS Kairouan in the summer of 2020. He previously played for Medeama in 2014 and signed a contract extension in 2017 before moving to North Africa in 2019, where he spent one season with JS Kairouan. He also had stints with Nigerian side Nasarawa United.
