Nations FC new trainer Kasim Ocansey Mingle says he joined the club to complement Johnson Smith’s effort after guiding the club to Premier League promotion.

The Premier League newcomers officially named Mingle as their new head coach last week ahead of the 2023/24 Premier League season.

And will be assisted by Johnson Smith, who guided the team book qualification to the Ghanaian top-flight.

On Tuesday, the former Bechem United and Great Olympics gaffer hit the ground running together with his assistant to commence their pre-season training.

Addressing the players, Mingle advocated for unity and corporation to help the club achieve their goals in the upcoming season.

“I’m here to complement John Smith’s effort, so I will plead with you to give me the corporation you gave him. We want unity among the playing body. Smith is my brother not a friend because we’ve been together for a long time, my relationship with him has morphed from friendship to brotherhood”

“Your chairman wants us to build something so if you have one technical brain, maybe there will be handicap somewhere, so you have two great technical brains behind the team so everything lies on you people” he said.

Mingle guided the Hunters to a third place finish in the 2022/23 Premier league season.
