Italian Ambassador to Ghana and Togo, Daniela d'Orlandi, has expressed her excitement at partnering with former Ghanaian footballer Sulley Muntari on sports initiatives.

The two met in Ghana to discuss issues of mutual benefit, although the exact date of their meeting is unknown.

Daniela d'Orlandi shared a photo of herself and Muntari on Twitter, revealing that their conversation centered on collaboration in sports and Muntari's enduring affection for Italy, which he still considers his second home.

The ambassador said, "I had a nice chat in Italian with the champion Sulley Muntari, who played many years in Serie A teams Udinese, Inter Milan, AC Milan, and Pescara Calcio.

Happy to hear that he still considers Italy as his second home. Looking forward to our collaboration in sports initiatives."

Playing for Udinese, Inter Milan, AC Milan, and Pescara in 2002-2007, 2008-2012, 2012-2015, and 2017 respectively, Sulley Muntari spent the majority of his career in Serie A.

He was able to clinch various titles, including the Serie A, Champions League, and Italian Cups during his stint with Inter Milan.
