Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan has declared his readiness for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations slated for Gabon next month.

Ghana has failed to win the ultimate on the continent for more than 32 year and will be hoping to win the 2017 AFCON following their narrow on penalties to Ivory Coast in Equatorial Guinea last time out.

The 31 year old striker claims he has recovered fully from a knee injury which kept him out close to 21 days and burnt on helping Ghana with the gong at stake in Gabon. “I am ready for the tournament, physically and mentally,” he said. “We all know what is at stake, the last time we came so close and this time we really want to end it. “I have the hope and believe we will win next year’s title, we just have to go out there and work hard.” He added.
