I’m not happy leaving Kotoko – Patrick Yeboah

Defender Patrick Yeboah has indicated that he is not a happy man leaving Asante Kotoko.

The full-back who joined the Porcupine Warriors club from Karela United struggled for playing time during the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season.

With Patrick Yeboah not in the plans of head coach Maxwell Konadu for the upcoming season, his contract has been terminated.

Speaking to Kumasi FM, the left-back says it was not his desire to part ways with Asante Kotoko.

“It’s not my will to leave the club, I am not happy at all but I have to take the challenge to prove to people that I am a better player who’s not giving enough time to prove my wealth”, he noted.

Meanwhile, Patrick Yeboah has also clarified that he has no issues with Coach Maxwell Konadu despite the turn of events under the gaffer.

“I do not have any problem with Coach Maxwell Konadu and I cannot say he was unfair to me. There are certain things I cannot say on air but everyone who was present at our training grounds can attest to my performance, my training was even better than my performance during matches”, he concluded.
