Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has made Marouane Fellaini a personal project, it has been revealed.
Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur has revealed how the Portuguese has got the best out of Man Utd's towering midfielder.
“Fellaini has been very happy since Jose joined," he said on The Transfer Window podcast.
“A phone call from Jose Mourinho two summers ago persuaded him that this manager believes in him.
“Everybody knows how Mourinho works and I know Fellaini pretty well and I knew it would be a match made in heaven.
“He's a guy who does everything he's asked, he always works hard in training, never complains and is the perfect squad player.
“Jose uses him in the way he likes to be used. Sometimes as a defensive midfielder, sometimes as the second striker he likes that variation in his game."
