Inter Allies set for sub middle league after topping Volta Division Two Zone B

Inter Allies, a former Ghana Premier League side, are gearing up for the sub middle league after an impressive performance in the Volta Division Two League Southern Sector B Zone B.

The team secured the top spot in their zone and remained undefeated throughout the Group Phase.

The sub middle league will feature the top two teams from Zone B battling against the top two teams from Zone A. The competition will follow an all-play-one format, where the top two teams will advance to the Volta Region Division Two League Middle League proper.

Inter Allies was relegated to the lower-tier competition following their involvement in a match manipulation scandal in the top flight league a year ago.

However, they have shown resilience and determination in the Volta Division Two League, earning their spot in the sub middle league.

With 24 points from 10 games, Inter Allies finished at the top of their zone. They will be joined by Manya Red Lions, who secured the second spot with 15 points, having played the same number of games at the Battor RC Park.

Inter Allies, known as the "Eleven Is To One" lads, displayed their dominance with seven wins and three draws. They scored an impressive 24 goals while conceding just nine.
