Ghana's Issah Abass grabbed an assist in GD Chaves's 4-2 victory against Gil Vicente in the Portuguese top flight on Saturday afternoon.
Abass started the game from the bench at the Estádio Municipal Eng. Manuel Branco Teixeira. He came on in the 73rd minute to replace Leandro Sanca.
GD Chaves started the game better and created several chances, but it took a while to open the scoring.
The first goal came in the 19th minute, Felix Correia scored with a right footed shot from the centre of the box to the centre of the goal.
In the 29th minute, Héctor Hernández's header from the left side of the six yard box to the bottom right corner gave Chaves the equalizer. Héctor Hernández's goal was assisted by Kelechi Nwakali with a cross following a corner.
Maxime Dominguez scored Gil Vicente's second goal with a right footed shot in the 39th minute.
Sandro Cruz made it 2-2 for the home side in the 58th minute.
Héctor Hernández added the third and fourth goal to seal the victory for GD Chaves.
