Asante Kotoko stop-gap coach, Abdul Gazale has expressed his disappointment after dropping points against Bibiani Gold Stars.

The defending champions hosted Gold Stars at the Baba Yara Stadium in the matchday 30 games on Sunday.

Having dropped points against Tamale City, the Reds were hoping to return to winning ways at their turf.

Solomon Sarfo Taylor scored a brilliant goal in the first half before Abednego Tetteh scored late for the away side to end the game 1-1.

After the game, Gazale praised his side for their improved performance but expressed his disappointment after dropping two points.

"The players did well today because it was better than what we saw against Tamale City," he told StarTimes after the game.

"Technically we do things right and in some moments we got it wrong," he added.

Asante Kotoko have now won only one of their last six games in the league and are eight points behind league leaders Adauan Stars.

The stalemate leave Kotoko at the 6th on the league log and will play relegated Kotoku Royals in the matchday 31 games at the Theatre of Dreams at Dawu on Sunday.
