Veteran gaffer, Bashir Hayford has said despite recording 1-0 against Inter Allies, the game was his toughest game since taking over the club in December.

After a torrid start at the club, the former Ashgold trainer has been able to redefine the form of the cub.

Youngster Matthew Anim Cudjoe scored in the first half to give The Royals their third win of the league season.

After the game, Bashir Hayford said it was the toughest game despite the narrow win.

“This is a very tough game. This is my toughest game since I took over. We were much determined to grab this three points because we have two more crucial games to look ahead to.”

“The boys are improving a lot and I am impressed. After every game, I see improvement and that’s the hallmark of a good coach. I hope to see more and more.”

Under Bashiru Hayford the Accra-based outfit have moved from the relegation spots and now lie 14th.

Legon Cities will host Karela United at home on Thursday in the matchday 12 games.
