Ghana legend, Mohammed Polo is backing Hearts of Oak to record a positive result against Wydad AC this weekend in the CAF Champions League.
The Phobians will this weekend host Wydad in the first of a two-legged encounter in the playoffs of the CAF elite inter-club competition.
Ahead of the encounter, club legend Mohammed Polo has charged current players in the team to give their best performance on the matchday.
“It is time for the players to show the quality they are made of. We have shown our quality and it is time for them to show the quality they are made off. We have passed the baton to them to show. They have to prove a point and play above themselves,” Polo said in an interview on Happy FM.
The Hearts of Oak great added, “I am hopeful if they believe in what they have and the technical men push them to perform we will see something good and the results will be positive as well. The game will be difficult but the players must be up to the task and prove their quality."
The encounter between Hearts of Oak and Wydad AC will be played at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, October 17, 2021.
