Italian giants Juventus have renewed their interest to sign Ghana international Thomas Partey from Arsenal, Footballghanac.om can report.

Partey was a key player for Arsenal last season, who finished second on the Premier League table to secure Champions League spot.

Initially, the Black Stars midfielder was linked with a move away from the Gunners this summer following the acquisition of Declan Rice.

But Mikel Arteta emphasized the importance of the former Atletico Madrid star to his set up ahead of the new season.

According to Sky Italia's Gianluca di Marzio, Juventus have held talks with Partey's agents and the player himself over a possible transfer this summer.

The Serie A giants made an attempt to snap up the Black Stars midfielder last summer but the move fell through.

It is said Juventus are back again for the acquisition of the enterprising midfielder.

Partey produced an impressive performance when the Gunners defeated Manchester City to annex the Community Shield.

Meanwhile, the Ghana international has been tipped to feature in the tick of affairs for the Gunners in the 2023-24 campaign.

He was deployed as a right-back and put up an impressive show when Arsenal defeated Nottingham Forest in their Premier League opening day fixture at the Emirate.
