It’s a big worry to us – Hearts of Oak’s Abdul Rahim Bashiru after three defeats in a row

Hearts of Oak assistant coach Abdul Rahim Bashiru has expressed worry about his outfit recent poor performance in the Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians has suffered three consecutive defeats in the Ghanaian top-flight, losing to Samartex, Bibiani Goldstars and Medeama.

The Yellow and Mauve delivered an outstanding performance to struggling Hearts of Oak 2-0 on Wednesday.

Two second-half goals from defender Kobina Amoah and midfielder Godfred Abban killed the resilience of the Phobians at the Akoon Community Park.

“It was a very difficult game. We played so well in the first half. Medeama scored us from free-kick, we had same but we couldn’t convert”

“It’s a big worry to us. We have to go back and do a lot of corrections because in the second half the players didn’t play according to the coach game plan” he said.

Hearts of Oak have now dropped to the eleventh position on the Ghana Premier League table after 25 matches, accumulating 32 points.
