Ghana international Salis Abdul Samed has reacted after helping his RC Lens outfit to defeat former club Clermont Foot in the French Ligue 1.

The Black Stars midfielder started and lasted 66 minutes as his outfit cruised to an emphatic 3-0 away win over Clermont Foot in the week 13 clash.

The 23-year-old Ghanaian midfielder, who joined Lens two seasons ago returned to the Stade Gabriel Montpied, helping Lens to secure maximum points over his former club.

Salis Abdul Samed joined Lens from Clermont Foot has since become an important player for the club.

After the game, the Black Stars midfielder took to social media to express his pleasure after playing against his former club.

“Always a pleasure to play here.Thank you to the supporters present ❤️💛#CF63RCL” he wrote on X.

Goals from Elye Wahi, Adrien Thomasson and Wesley Said ensured Lens secure victory against Clermont Foot in the away fixture on Saturday.

Meanwhile, compatriot Alidu Seidu received the marching orders in the dyeing embers of the game.
