It's better than losing all three points - Maxwell Konadu contents with Legon Cities draw with Chelsea

Legon Cities head coach, Maxwell Konadu has said he is pleased with his side draw with Berekum Chelsea.

In the matchday 7 games, The Royals hosted Chelsea at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Cities who had picked 6 points out of six games played were hoping to return to winning ways at their own turf.

However, after 90 minutes of action, Konadu and his side charges were held to a 0-0 drawn game.

According to the former Asante Kotoko boss, he is pleased with the point picked at home.

"The game was fine as expected but it's better than losing all three points," he said after the game.

"We tried our best but this is the final result.

"We worked a lot ahead of this game but I believe we will keep getting better," he added.

The stalemate leave Legon Cities at the 12th position on the league log with 7 points.

Legon Cities will be hosted by rejuvenated Medeama SC in the matchday 8 games at the Akoon Park this weekend.
