I've hardly thought about the World Cup - Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus

Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus has disclosed that he is not solely focused on the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar with few days to the tournament.

The 22-year-old will be tasting the global showpiece for the very first time in his football career.

Ghana have been drawn in Group H alongside Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay.

"I have hardly thought about the World Cup," he said as quoted by www.ad.nl.

The former FC Nordsjælland ace has been included in Ghana's 55-man provisional squad for the World Cup, however he is expected to named in the final squad for the global showpiece later this month.

Ghana will take on Portugal in their first game on November 24 before playing South Korea and Uruguay on November 28 and December 2 respectively.

Black Stars will play Switzerland in an International friendly on November 17, before travelling to Qatar for the World Cup.

Kudus has made 18 appearances and scored five goals for the Black Stars.
