Inter Milan legend and current vice-president Javier Zanetti has spoken out about the club's intentions and relationshipwith their forward Gabriel Barbosa, better-known asGabigol.

Earlier this weekthe player'sagent criticised the club's treatment of his client since the striker made a €30m move from Brazilian side Santos in the summer.

In an interview with Premium Sport, 43-year-old Zanetti commented Gabigol is very young, he's working well and with great humility."

After that, with the indications of the Coach [Stefano Pioli], Piero [Ausilio] and Giovanni Gardini, who will talk with us and the ownership, we'll decide what to do."

Gabigol's agent's frustration comes after his player has only played 16 minutes in Serie A this season and is 'fed up of being treated' the way he is.

The 20-year-old was tipped to be the next Neymar in his time at Santos but for some or other reason is yet to get the chance to prove himself at his new club.

Inter are currently ninth in Serie A, 15 points off leaders Juventus and eight points off of local rivals AC Milan, in the halfway point of the season.

Zanetti claims Inter are still battling for success, despite their lacklustre start:Our season? Right now we're just focused on the games which are left, because we want to finish well and climb up the table, added the Argentinian.

With Inter currently struggling and Gabigol's potential being ranked with the best it will be intriguing to see what the club decide to do with the player, especially this near to a transfer window.
