FC Metz captain, John Boye will not feature for the side this weekend when they play as a guest to Racing Strasbourg as a result of a suspension after picking up a red card in his last outing.

The veteran Ghana captain has been an inspiration for the team since the 2020/2021 French Ligue 1 season commenced.

Unfortunately for the defender, he was sent off last weekend for a violent conduct when FC Metz lost 3-1 to Olympic Lyon at home.

As a result, John Boye is now expected to miss three matches for his team. The suspension affected the derby clash against Racing Strasbourg scheduled to be played on Sunday, December 12, 2020.

This season, the 33-year old has impressed in 12 appearances for his team in the French Ligue 1 and his service is expected to be hugely missed this weekend.
