Ghanaian forward, Jonah Osabutey has expressed his delight after emerging as the Player of the Season at Royal Excel Mouscron for the 2019/2020 season.
The enterprising attacker joined the Belgian Jupiler Pro League club on a season-long loan move from German side Werder Bremen in 2019.
Following a productive campaign where he netted 5 goals and provided 3 assists after making 23 appearances, he has been named as the Player of the Season for Royal Excel Mouscron.
Speaking to Platinum TV on the accolade, Jonah Osabutey has shared that it feels great to receive such a special honour.
“It feels great to win this special award in my first season here.it is a loan move and I have enjoyed every bit of the atmosphere here", the 20-year-old forward shared.
While applauding his teammates at Royal Excel Mouscron, he further stressed that the award gives him a lot of motivation to continue working hard.
“Winning the club's player of the season is a huge motivation for me to keep working hard. Thanks to my teammates and the entire squad for the support", he noted.
