Jordan Ayew confident Wilfred Zaha will hit goal scoring form soon

Ghanaian striker Jordan Ayew has backed Crystal Palace teammate Wilfred Zaha to find goal-scoring form in no time.

The Ivorian attacker seems to be missing his goal-scoring boots in the English Premier League following his failed move to Arsenal in the summer transfer window.

After 8 matches into the 2019/2020 season, the poster boy of the Eagles is yet to find the back of the net in the top-flight league even though he has glittered in all matches he has featured in.

Speaking in an interview with Mirror Sport, Jordan Ayew has shared that he believes Zaha will start scoring very soon.

“Everybody knows the kind of player he is and the qualities he has got. In football there are tough times and good times but none of them last forever, so you just ride it out.

“You can see the way he is playing it’s just a matter of time before he starts banging them in”, the Black Stars striker said.

Both Jordan Ayew and Wilfred Zaha are expected to be in action for Crystal Palace this weekend when they take on defending champions Manchester City.
