Jordan Ayew is delighted with the Black Stars 100% record after two straight wins in their opening games in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Ghana began started the qualifiers campaign with a comfortable 2-0 home win against South Africa and followed it up with a 1-0 victory away to São Tomé.

Ghana leads Group C after two rounds of matches with 6 points, South Africa and Sudan have 3 points each while São Tomé remain bottom with 0 points.

The Crystal Palace striker had the only goal against São Tomé and has expressed his satisfaction with the Black Stars perfomance.

“We have six points and no team in our group did that in this international week so that proved that we did something good.

“It’s just the beginning. I am very happy and I hope that we continue like that.

“I want to congratulate the boys for these two games. The camp has been brilliant.

“The support has been perfect. Every plan that we had, we executed it very well.”
