Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho could miss matches with Everton and Tottenham Hotspur thanks to his latest FA ban.

Mourinho was sent to the stands by referee Jon Moss during United's 1-1 draw with West Hamafter kicking a water-bottle in frustration at seeing Paul Pogba booked for simulation, and theFAconfirmed on Mondaythe former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss had been charged thanks to his conduct.

"Jose Mourinho has been charged following Manchester United's game against West Ham United on Sunday [27 November 2016]," the statement reads.

"It is alleged his behaviour in or around the 27th minute of the game amounts to improper conduct."

According toThe Times, Mourinho could be set to miss matches with Everton and Spurs thanks to his latest potential ban. Thanks to his recent run-ins with footballing authorities, Mourinho could incur a touchline ban of either two or three matches enforced by an FA commission.

Mourinho could be punished with a stadium ban, although it is thought this particular punishment is unlikely. Sunday's incident is the latest charge for Mourinho during the early stages of the season.

The Portuguese was charged after making comments about referee Anthony Taylor ahead of United's clash with Liverpool, while he was also sent to the stands by Mark Clattenburg at half-time during the 0-0 draw with Burnley.

Mourinho's antics have failed to inspire United in recent weeks, with the club now 11 points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea. The Red Devils fell behind to a Diafra Sakho header against West Ham at the weekendbefore Zlatan Ibrahimovic nodded home from Pogba's cross.
