Joseph Attamah reveals the motive behind his transfer to Rizespor

Ghanaian defender Joseph Attamah Lawerh has revealed the motive behind his transfer from Istanbul Başakşehir to Rizespor whiles explaining that he wanted to enjoy regular playing time.

The center-back who has played in the Turkish Super Lig for the last couple of years secured a season-long loan move to play with Rizespor during the summer transfer window.

Opening up on why he pushed for the transfer, Attamah has revealed that he considered the possibility of having regular playing time.

“You have to find the right club for you.

“If I had stayed there this season, I wouldn't have had much chance to place. I wanted to go to a team where I could play more football, so I came to Rizespor Çaykur.

“I don't have any resentment”, the 25-year-old shared.

The defender has so far played five matches for his new club and looks to have cemented a starting position at the club who are currently placed 6th on the division standings.
