Joseph Esso returning to Hearts of Oak on a 2-year contract

Highly-rated forward, Joseph Esso is set to sign a new contract with Hearts of Oak for a period of 2 years.

This comes a week after the officials of the Ghana Premier League giants announced that they have severed ties with the attacker.

After engagements with the supporters' groups of the club and backlash in the media, information picked up has revealed that Hearts of Oak is now on the brink of re-signing Joseph Esso.

"I have been speaking to Joseph Esso on phone almost every day and cannot discuss everything on the media. Hopefully, Esso will return to Hearts of Oak”, Elvis Hesse Herman, chairman of the club’s National Chapters Committee (NCC) has revealed in an interview with FOX FM.

According to information picked up from sources, Esso will sign a new 2-year deal with the Phobians and will take GHS30,000 as signing on fee.

His agreed monthly wage will be $1,000, making him one if the highest earners at the club.
