Karela United coach Prosper Nartey has parted ways with the club after just two months ahead of the new season.

Nartey, who replaced Johnson Smith has left the Aiyinase side amid misunderstanding with the club's top hierarchy.

He previously managed Ghana Premier League side Ebusua Dwarfs three years ago.

Karela United have struggled to keep their key players since the death of club owner David Brigidi.

Eight senior team players have left the club with fellow Premiership side Asante Kotoko signing as many as four players including Ismail Abdul Ganiu, Maxwell Baakoh, Empem Dacosta and Patrick Yeboah with Imoro Ibrahim and Isaac Kwain believed to be on their way to Kumasi.
