Ghanaian top-flight club, Karela United has sealed the signing of winger Obed Owusu as they continue preparations for the upcoming football season.
The club in the 2019/2021 football season struggled to compete with the top-flight clubs.
Out of the 15 matches the Anyinase-based club played before the season was suspended and subsequently canceled, they only won 2 and sat 17th on the standings of the division.
In a bid to do better in the 2020/2021 football season, Karela United has been busy in the transfer window.
Today, they have announced that they have secured the services of exciting attacker Obed Kofi Sam.
“You think we were done for the day?.... Nope! Ladies and Gentlemen...Obed Kofi Sam...formerly of Hasaacas is now in our fold...Welcome oooooooo”, a statement on the Twitter page of the club has said.
The winger is expected to give coach Evans Adotey’s squad a massive squad boost ahead of the start of the new season which will kick off on the weekend of November 13-15.
