Ghana Premier League side Karela United are set to resume full training on Friday, April 2, 2020 after a one-week break due to the outbreak coronavirus pandemic.

The Anyinase based club officially broke camp on Thursday following the suspension of the league as precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the deadly virus in the country.

The Covid-19 has so far infected nearly 450,000 persons worldwide, claiming almost 20,000 lives.

Ghana has so far recorded 68 confirmed cases of Covid-19, involving two deaths.

Karela United are currently 17th on the league table with 11 points, five points adrift relegation zone after 15 matches played thus far.

Meanwhile, the club is expected to appoint a new head coach following the sacking of Enos Adepah in the coming days.
