Key dates for mouthwatering games in the Ghana Premier League 2020/21 season

Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak look set to renew their rivalry on Valentine’s Day, February 14, per the latest released fixtures for the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.

Following 7 months break from the sport, the new football season is set to bounce back in November.

On the opening weekend, defending champions Aduana Stars will face off with capital giants Accra Hearts of Oak in a gigantic fixture to spice up the new season.

For the biggest fixture on the calendar of Ghanaian football, it is scheduled for Matchday 14. To spice it up, the fixture will fall on February 14 and promises to be a Sunday that fans will remember afterward.

Meanwhile, Ebusua Dwarfs and Elmina Sharks are set to open the derbies of the season. The two teams will face off on Matchday 1 in a game that should be staged at the Cape Coast Stadium.

Matchday 2 will also produce another cracking fixture with Hearts of Oak billed to return from the trip to Dormaa to host Ashanti Gold SC at the Accra Sports Stadium.
