King Faisal considering Nyinahin Sports Complex as home venue - George Amoako

Chief Executive Officer of King Faisal, George Amoako has confirmed that his outfit is considering making the Nyinahin Sports Complex in the Ashanti region as its home venue.

The club's management is looking at the venue as their potential destination when Ghana football returns next season.

King Faisal was previously using the Baba Yara stadium which is now undergoing rehabilitation and they are considering leaving the venue for good.

"Looking at the proposal from the GFA for the 2020/2021 league in the midst of Covid-19, it means that we might have to break the league into 2, Northern and Southern zones," he told Oyerepa FM.

"Just 2 venues will play all the matches, home and Away in our zone, it has not been firmed up yet by the stakeholders.

"It looks like Nyinahini will not be part strictly Obuasi and Dormaa that's what's on paper now if that happens, then we will have to comply but if given the chance to play at our desired home grounds, it is 90% we are going to Nyinahini."

The Insha Allah lads failed to secure a single win at the Baba Yara Stadium during the 2019/20 season as they were on the bottom of the league table before its truncation.
