Kumasi Asante Kotoko centre-back, Ahmed Adams and midfielder, Kwadwo Poku will face a nervous wait to find out whether they will be included in the match-day squad for their home game against Berekum Chelsea at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.

Ahmed Adams has been off due to a foot injury which has kept him out of action in the last three games.

Kwadwo Poku, on the other hand, has missed five games due to injuries on both knees.

Both players returned to the Adako Jachie this week and have been undergoing various forms of practices to regain their fitness under the watch of the Physical Trainer, A. S. K. Doe.

Kwadwo Poku has been doing ball work with his colleagues while Ahmed Adams has been involved in physicals, but the Physical Trainer reckons they are not ready for first team places.

"They have been doing well but aren't ready yet to be put up for selection", he said. "I will be done with my assessment by Friday; I will know by then if they will be fully fit” said Doe.
