Aduana Stars Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Takyi Arhin has hit out at Asante Kotoko head coach Seydou Zerbo after he accused the league leaders of fixing home matches.
Seydou Zerbo in a post-match interview on Sunday after his team lost to the Dormaa-based club in the MTN FA Cup was unhappy.
He attributed the defeat to poor officiating and indicated that he believes Aduana Stars have been fixing home matches.
“There is nothing that we can do because for this our defeat it is the referee who gave the victory to Aduana Stars this afternoon because there was no penalty. Therefore I will not talk anymore. I respond to this question that the officiating was not favorable.
"It is not an excuse but today we have seen why Aduana Stars are ahead (in the league). It is because all their home matches are fixed,” Coach Seydou Zerbo said.
Reacting to this after Footballghana reported on the post-match, Aduana Stars CEO Takyi Arhin did not take it lightly.
According to him, the coach is lamenting because he is confused by the fact that he has underperformed as head coach of the Porcupine Warriors.
“This is just an effusions and lamentations of a confuse and underperformed coach, "Takyi Arhim stressed.
