Kotoko 'credible' opponents for Black Stars, claims GFA Technical Director

GFA Technical Director Oti Akenteng claims Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko are currently in good form and playing some excellent football, hence, the reason why Black Stars friendly was arranged.

Many supporters have criticized the decision of the Normalisation committee to sanction the friendly seeing it as “meaningless” but the 63-year-old is confident the Porcupine Warriors are credible opposition for the Black Stars.

“Kotoko have shown that they are on top form. They have played and beaten Hearts of Oak and played against Ashgold."

"They were even in Tanzania and I think they will give is a good match,” he said.

“Felix is a Kotoko player and who knows Kwesi Appiah might even get another player from CK Akonnor team”
