Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Frederick Asare has called for support for Black Stars head coach Otto Addo.
According to the young shot-stopper, the head coach of the national team is one of the best in the game.
Speaking to the media team of Asante Kotoko after his Black Stars call-up, Frederick Asare urged Ghanaians to trust coach Otto Addo.
“Working with him is a great thing for me. I’ve learnt a lot, he is a ball-playing coach who always likes to play from the back with the goalkeeper so having him as your coach, gives you that confidence even upon several mistakes he still tries and encourages you to always do the best.
“For me, I think that he is one of the best coaches Ghana can ever have so I believe that we should trust in him and support him,” Frederick Asare said.
The Asante Kotoko goalkeeper reported to the camp of the Black Stars on Thursday, May 30.
The national team will start training on Friday to prepare for the games against Mali and Central African Republic in the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
