The Premier League Board has confirmed all week 21 matches of the Ghana Premier League will be played on Saturday July 23rd except the Clasico between Kotoko and Hearts of Oak which will be played on Sunday July 24th at the Kumasi Baba Yara sports stadium.
The decision taken by the PLB is to allow Ghana’s version of the El Clasico receive the maximum attention just like the previous tie did in Accra.
The first leg tie between Ghana’s top two teams at the Accra sports stadium recorded the country's highest ever gate proceeds of GHC 450,000 with the PLB and Kotoko hopeful of doing same with this game s well.
