The Chairman of GHALCA, Kudjoe Fianoo, claims his outfit will dialogue with the government as FIFA threatens to ban Ghana following the decision to dissolve the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

The former CEO of AshantiGold stated that stakeholders will not be happy if the World governing body bans Ghana from football-related activities.

"We are of the view that it will not be in our interest to face a FIFA ban or suspension so whatever we need to do now and the 27th of August, we will make sure we dialogue with government to make sure that we reach a decision that will be in the supreme interest of Ghana football," he said.

FIFA has issued an ultimatum to the government of Ghana following its steps to liquidate the Ghana Football Association due to the revelations of the investigative documentary by ace journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

FIFA has given Ghana a deadline of August 27th to withdraw it's case against the Football Association from the court or suffer the wrath of FIFA.

"Here we are faced with a potential FIFA ban on the 27th, it is not in the interest of Ghana Football to look on for football to face that fatal from FIFA. Yes, we've all dragged it."

"The government, the clubs, the football people, we have dragged it to the level that we all see disaster looming," he added.

"Some will say the government has the right to have football stalled but encompassing all that, is that the best way to go?" he quizzed.

"So whatever, we will do to get the government to dialogue with us, so that we all draw a middle line. This is not the time to apportion blame but to get our football back," he concluded.

Meanwhile, a delegation led by CAF/FIFA liaison team will be meeting FIFA today over the way forward for Ghana Football.
