Veteran football administrator, Abdul Salam Yakubu has accused Ghana Football Association (GFA) president, Kurt Okraku of creating enemies within the football ecosystem and must not go unopposed in the upcoming elections.
Mr Okraku assumed office in 2019 with his first term in office coming to an end later this year in October.
Elections are expected to be held with Congress yet to approve the date for elections.
Speaking to Accra-based Onua FM, Abdul Salam said the current GFA administration have created a lot of enemies for the Association, sideling all those that opposed Kurt Okraku in the previous elections in October 2019.
He further reiterated that Mr Okraku must not go unopposed in the upcoming elections.
“There are a lot of people ready to contest Kurt Okraku. Should the GFA open nomination today, many people will send in their nomination forms to contest the GFA President and Executive Council,” he said.
