Kwame Peprah scores for Maritzburg in draw against AmaZulu

Maritzburg United's recent acquisition, Kwame Peprah, made his debut for the club during Friday's South Africa Premier League round 19 game against AmaZulu FC.

The match ended in a 1-1 draw, with Peprah scoring in the 32nd minute of the game.

The Ghanaian international, who is on loan from Orlando Pirates, impressed in his first start for Maritzburg United.

The former King Faisal forward's goal gave Maritzburg United the lead and offered hope for a bounce-back after losing 1-0 to Chippa United last Sunday.

However, their lead was short-lived as Congolese player Mabiliso Subisiso equalized in the final moments of the match with a goal in the 90+4 minute.

Kwame Peprah joined Maritzburg United on loan till the end of the season from Orlando Pirates where he struggled for game time.

The 22-year-old striker was replaced in the 76th minute by Friday Samu.
