Kwame Poku grabs assist in Peterborough United's win against Reading

Kwame Poku grabbed an assist in Peterborough United's 1-0 win against Reading in League One on Saturday afternoon.

The head-to-head record for the teams before the game was Reading four wins, Peterborough United two wins, and one draw.

Poku started the game for Peterborough United and lasted 89 minutes. Andy Yiadom also started the game for Reading FC and lasted 61 minutes.

Joel Randall was well assisted by Ephron Mason-Clark in the 13th minute, but Randall sent his left-footed drive over the crossbar.

Four minutes later, Harvey Knibbs' curling attempt was superbly deflected by Bilokapic, and Andy Carroll's soaring header was easily handled by the Posh goalkeeper.

Referee Simon Mather issued a warning to Reading manager Ruben Selles for dissent after 34 minutes.

Andy Yiadom was booked in the 38th minute for tossing the ball into the stands after failing to maintain the ball in play.

Posh opened the score in the 43rd minute, skipper Ephron Mason-Clark's towering header landed into the corner of the net. Ephron Mason-Clark's goal was assisted by Kwame Poku.

Peterborough United will now turn their attentionn to their EFL Cup game against Swindon Town.
