Legon Citie set to sign Ampem Dacosta on loan

Legon Cities are set to complete the signing of Ampem Dacosta from Asante Kotoko in the on-going transfer window.

According to reports in the local media, Cities have inquired about the availability the former Karela United defender for the second round of the on-going 2019/20 Ghana Premier League.

He will sign a six-month loan deal if both parties have a successful negotiation.

Dacosta has failed to impress the technical handlers Kotoko and is currently deemed surplus to requirement by coach Maxwell Konadu.

He joined the Porcupine Warriors from Karela Unired on a three-year deal last year.

The 21-year-old is expected to strengthen the defence of the Royals who lie on the 14th position on the league table with 13 points after 12 matches played thus far.

Legon Cities will welcome WAFA to the Accra Sports stadium in match week 13 of the on-going Ghana Premier League over the weekend.
