Legon Cities have commenced full training ahead of the start of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season in November.

The President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in his 17th Address to the Nation on the update of the COVID-19 pandemic announced the lift of ban on contact sports, paving the way for the resumption of competitive football activities in Ghana.

Football has been on suspension since March 16, 2020, due to the coronavirus pandemic, leading to the cancellation of the 2019/2020 season.

The club started preparations after undergoing the mandatory COVID-19 test, with none of their players reported to have tested positive.

Coach Goran Barjaktarevic put his players through their paces as they prepare for the new season.
