Communications Director of Legon Cities Kwame Dwomoh-Agyemang has rejected reports that players are owed seven months salaries.

Earlier reports in the local media suggested that players of the club are owed seven months.

But in an interview with Kumasi-based Silver FM monitores by Footballghana.com, Kwame Dwomoh has quashed such reports and has called on the public to treat it with the needed contempt it deserves.

“Let’s debunk these stories. I don’t know why some of these stories find their way to the media space”

“By the ethics of the profession, at least you get in touch with us for clarification on issues but unfortunately, because of likes on social media, some just put some of these stories out and when you threaten to sue them, they begin to plead”

“It’s most unfortunate but I don’t want to add anything to it, let’s ignore some of theses stories”

The Royals have been inconsistent this season and are currently 13th on the league table with 37 points after 29 matches.

Legon Cities will face Nsoatreman FC in matchday 30 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
