The management of Legon Cities FC on Saturday, May 23, 2020, interacted with the fan base of the club on Twitter in a Zoom hangout amidst the Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis.

The virtual meeting offered the supporters of the club the opportunity of asking questions as they got to know the big men running the rebranded Wa All Stars team.

Management members including CEO Terry Maxwell-Aidam, Deputy CEO/Administrative Manager Kwabena Asenso, and the club’s Communications Manager Kwame Dwomoh-Agyemang were part of the exercise and took turns to answer questions.

According to Mr. Terry Maxwell Aidam, the club is hoping to move their home matches away from the Accra Sports Stadium and has commenced talks with authorities at the University of Legon on the possibility of using their facility instead.

“We have started engaging the authorities at the Premier University and we are hopeful of a positive response from them. We believe that such a facility would help us grow our fan base and also align ourselves with the institution as the name of the club has a connection with the school”, the Legon Cities FC CEO said.

He further revealed to fans of the club that they tried to sign Kotoko forward Sogne Yacouba but talks broke down at the later part.

Legon Cities FC will announce the signing of several top players when the football season makes a return from the Covid-19 break.
